Frequently Asked

Questions

Your questions. Our full attention.

01. Ordering & The Pristine Process

How do I place an order with Pristine Splendour?

Every Pristine Splendour experience begins with a consultation booking. You can reach us via our website, email, or phone to express your interest and provide your event details.

Once we receive your enquiry, we will acknowledge it and follow up to schedule your consultation appointment at a time that works for both you and the designer. All consultations are strictly by appointment and confirmed upon payment of the consultation fee.

We recommend reaching out at least 4–6 months before your event date to ensure availability and allow sufficient time for design, fittings, and finishing.
What is the Pristine Splendour design process from start to finish?

Our process follows five carefully structured steps to ensure every piece is crafted to perfection:

  1. Consultation — An intimate design session where your vision, silhouette, fabric, and detailing are explored and interpreted.
  2. Design & Approval — A design concept and fabric direction is presented. Changes after approval may attract additional costs and affect timelines.
  3. Fittings — Up to three fittings are conducted to achieve the signature Pristine fit. Fittings must begin at least four weeks before your event.
  4. Finishing — Every piece receives our signature needle stitch, PS engraved buttons, and hidden red detail before leaving the studio.
  5. Collection — Your garment is released upon full payment. You are advised to inspect it upon receipt.
How early should I place my order?

We strongly recommend contacting us at least 4–6 months before your confirmed event date. This allows sufficient time for the consultation, design development, fittings, and finishing.

Please ensure you have a confirmed event date before reaching out, as this helps us schedule your appointment and plan your production timeline accurately.

Bridal couture pieces require multiple fittings beginning at least four weeks before your event — please plan accordingly.
Do you do Made-to-Order (MTO) as well as fully bespoke?

Yes. Pristine Splendour operates primarily on a Made-to-Order (MTO) and bespoke model, ensuring minimal waste, high customisation, exclusive garment ownership, and a premium client experience.

Made-to-Order — Custom garments created from selected existing designs, tailored precisely to your measurements.

Bespoke / Haute Couture — A fully original design created specifically for you — this includes our bridal collections (Aisle, Kente Gowns, Eternal Elegance) and Melure custom requests.

We do not produce ready-to-wear or off-the-rack pieces. Every garment is crafted for one woman only.

02. Consultations & Appointments

Do I need an appointment to visit the studio?

Yes. All consultations are strictly by appointment and confirmed only upon payment of the consultation fee. We do not accommodate walk-in design consultations.

If you would like to make a general enquiry or browse, you are welcome to contact us via phone or email first. Appointments are set based on the designer’s availability.

What happens during my consultation?

Your consultation is an intimate, personalised design session. Together with the designer, you will explore:

  • Your silhouette, style preferences, and vision
  • Fabric selection and colour direction
  • Detailed design and embellishment options
  • Fitting schedule and expected completion date

You are encouraged to come with inspiration images or references. Our role is to translate your ideas into a design that feels personal, elevated, and distinctly yours.

Clients may bring up to two guests to the consultation.

The consultation fee is non-refundable but is credited toward your final invoice upon commencement of your order.
Can consultations be done virtually?

Yes. For international clients or clients who are unable to attend in person, consultations can be conducted virtually via approved platforms.

The consultation fee is still required in advance to confirm your virtual appointment. A measurement guide will also be provided so your measurements can be professionally taken and submitted.

What is the rescheduling and cancellation policy for appointments?

We value structure, punctuality, and respect for time. The following applies to all appointments:

  • Rescheduling or cancellations must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Missed appointments without prior notice may result in forfeiture of your booking.
  • Rebookings are subject to the designer’s availability.
  • Appointments are expected to begin promptly at the confirmed time.

Pristine Splendour reserves the right to adjust schedules in unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be offered.

03. Fittings & Measurements

How many fittings will I need?

Achieving a refined finish requires a structured fitting process. Each garment typically requires up to three (3) fittings, and clients are expected to attend all scheduled fittings.

Fittings must begin at least four (4) weeks before your event date. Failure to attend fittings or opting out of the fitting process may affect the final outcome, for which Pristine Splendour will not be held responsible.

For international clients, fittings may be conducted virtually where necessary, with guidance provided at each stage.
How are my measurements taken?

Precision is essential to achieving the signature Pristine Splendour fit. Clients are strongly advised to attend in person for measurements at our studio in Abokobi, Accra.

Where an in-person visit is not possible, professionally taken measurements may be submitted. A detailed measurement guide will be provided to ensure accuracy.

  • Clients must inform us of any body changes that may affect fit prior to production.
  • Pristine Splendour is not responsible for fit issues arising from inaccurate measurements provided by the client.
What if my body measurements change after I have ordered?

Please inform us as early as possible if your measurements change significantly during the production period. This ensures we can accommodate adjustments during the fitting process without compromising the final result.

Minor refinements identified during fittings are included as part of the process. However, significant alterations requested late in production may attract additional charges and affect your delivery timeline.

04. Payments & Pricing

How much do Pristine Splendour pieces cost?

Pristine Splendour is positioned within the luxury segment. Pricing reflects craftsmanship, fabric quality, and exclusivity:

  • Contemporary Fashion (Melure) — $100 – $600
  • Luxury Pieces — $600 – $1,500
  • Bridal Couture (Aisle, Kente, Eternal Elegance) — $2,000 – $6,000+

Final pricing is discussed during your consultation based on your specific design, fabric selection, and detailing. All designs are unique and non-reproducible.

Pricing is subject to change. Exact costs are confirmed during your consultation and outlined in your contract.
What is the deposit and payment structure?

The following payment structure applies:

  • A non-refundable consultation fee is required to confirm your appointment (this is credited toward your final invoice).
  • A deposit of typically 70% of the total cost is required to commence production.
  • The remaining balance must be paid in full before delivery or collection of your garment.
  • Payments are made via approved payment channels.
Delays in payment may affect your production timeline or result in order cancellation.
Is the consultation fee refundable?

The consultation fee is non-refundable. However, it is credited toward your final invoice once you proceed with your order.

This fee secures your appointment slot and compensates the designer’s time and expertise during the consultation session.

05. Delivery & Collection

When will my garment be ready?

Your completion date is agreed upon during the consultation and outlined in your contract. Fittings should be completed at least four weeks before your event to allow for finishing.

Any changes to design or fabric requested after approval may affect the delivery timeline. We strongly advise clients to finalise all decisions promptly to avoid delays.

Delays in payment can also affect production timelines. Ensure all payments are settled on schedule.
How do I collect my garment?

Garments are released upon full payment only. Once payment is confirmed, you may collect your piece from our studio in Abokobi, Accra during working hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm).

Clients are advised to inspect their garment upon receipt. Once a piece leaves our studio, Pristine Splendour is not responsible for damage, alterations made elsewhere, or fit issues arising after collection.

What if I need alterations after collecting my garment?

Minor refinements identified during the fitting process are included as part of your order. Additional alterations requested after the final approval and collection may:

  • Attract extra charges
  • Extend completion timelines

We are not responsible for any alterations made to the garment by a third party after it has left our studio.

06. International Clients

Do you accept orders from clients outside Ghana?

Yes. Pristine Splendour welcomes clients from across Ghana and internationally. We are actively growing our reach to serve clients worldwide.

For international clients, consultations and fittings can be conducted virtually via approved platforms, and we provide detailed measurement guides to ensure accuracy. International shipping is available.

How does shipping work for international orders?

International delivery is available for all Pristine Splendour pieces. Please note:

  • Shipping and customs costs are fully borne by the client and are not included in the garment price.
  • Shipping arrangements are discussed and confirmed during the consultation process.
  • Clients are advised to factor shipping lead times into their event planning.
Pristine Splendour is not responsible for delays caused by customs or courier services once the piece has left our studio.
How do measurements work for clients abroad?

We provide a detailed measurement guide and template for international clients. We strongly recommend having your measurements taken by a professional tailor or seamstress using our guide to ensure accuracy.

Please ensure all measurements are taken in the correct unit as specified in our guide. Pristine Splendour is not responsible for fit issues arising from inaccurate measurements submitted remotely.

Can Pristine Splendour reproduce or copy a design I have seen elsewhere?

Pristine Splendour does not reproduce or replicate the work of other designers. Our brand is built on the belief that fashion should not be repeated — it should be experienced.

You are welcome to share inspiration images during your consultation, and our designer will use these as a starting point to create something original and personal to you — not a copy of what you have seen.

Equally, all designs, sketches, and creative concepts produced by Pristine Splendour remain our exclusive intellectual property and may not be replicated or shared without written consent.
